The Type 7 / Porsche Artifacts Book offers a rare look inside Porsche's historic archive, showcasing a carefully selected collection of objects that tell the story of the marque's first 75 years. Filled with stunning photography, the book highlights everything from engineering journals and early design studies to the original concept sketch for the legendary Porsche crest, bringing readers as close as possible to the experience of exploring the archive itself.
Drawn from millions of preserved artifacts, the featured collection spans Porsche family memorabilia, engineering tools, design and development materials, and documents connected to some of the brand's most iconic automobiles. Every artifact is directly linked to vehicles housed in the Porsche Museum. Creative Director and photographer Thomas Walk captured each piece in a custom-built studio at Porsche's Zuffenhausen headquarters, while the accompanying vehicle photography was taken on location throughout the Porsche Museum, creating an immersive visual record of Porsche's remarkable heritage.
